TWO SUMMER SONGS

Bonnie Light Horseman share a couple of singles from their upcoming album

Summer songs have a special vibe – whether we’re feeling and hearing them for the first time or the hundredth – bring on the sun, fun and good times! And maybe a bunch of great memories too.

Summer Dream and California are two songs by folk supergroup Bonnie Light Horseman issued in June and July to announce the October 7 release of their sophomore album, Rolling Golden Holy. The tunes are easy on the ears – perfect for a soundtrack at the lake, on a road trip, a back yard BBQ or wherever.

While the band’s first album featured innovative interpretations of 10 folk song standards, the new collection features original work.

Have a listen. And there’s a bonus track on the YouTube and Spotify playlists. Bright Star is a gem from BLH member Anaïs Mitchell’s self-titled eighth album released in January.

For a review of the band’s first album check out Kurated No. 71.

Kurated is a music sharing project.
Stay tuned and enjoy,
