TWO SONGS OF THE DAY: FLAMETOP GREEN AND CABEZON

Two instrumentals to open your day.

Daniel Lanois’ Flametop Green is on the 2005 album, Belladonna. It’s a moving, poignant and too brief piece.

Cabezon, by the Red House Painters, is a languid track from their 1995 collection Ocean Beach. When I looked up the title and landed on a site called weird.ca featuring the Cabazon Dinosaurs, the absurdity felt appropriate (despite the spelling difference.)
